I've installed it and gone to add a card but I'm getting:
"Android Pay cannot be used" followed by "Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is Android compatible".
Anybody else tried?
no, but can have a go. wait there
same issue.
Im assuming because mine is rooted.
yours?
Well I've fully unrooted it (which removes SuperSU from the settings and rebooted but still no joy.
I'm hoping that it's to do with Android Pay NOT being launched today but I don't think it is.
There's also a thing about setting your DPI to default (480?) which it seems to be on 🙁
uh oh, safetynet helper reports that my phone does not match a CTS profile.
My OnePlus One isn't matching a CTS Profile either. Can't run the banking apps either as it says I'm rooted when I'm not - presume that's the same issue.

I would say not as it's working fine here on an Xperia Z3 - although I've yet to use it to buy anything.
Same issue here, I guessed that google only support certain phones / android variants and they don't like mine ( "XtremeRom" )
Haven't tried it yet but this might do the job for those rooted/running xposed

Yep it seems if you have a custom ROM then it's not going to work. 🙁
I wonder if you can get the standard ROM for the s3?

I think it's this one, no harm in trying if you've got time
A colleague installed it onto his phone at break yesterday morning. It already had his card details (I assume he's used a Google checkout and said it could remember his cards?) and he paid on the contactless card reader in our student common room with no problems.
It's a shame my bank isn't part Android Pay:
It was immediately supported by almost all major UK banks, with the exception of Barclays
Although...
Barclays' payment method will go one step further in trying to replace a physical card by allowing contactless payments of up to £100. For payments higher than the industry standard £30 threshold users will have to enter their cards pin on their phone when prompted.
