A small Bosch one. Used it, put it away, got it out agan a few days later, dead.
Fuse is ok; have opened it up, evicted the wildlife and checked for corrosionon wires etc - it all looks in perfect condition. Only think I can think of is possibly a stuck pressure-activated soleniod thing for the pressure cut-off switch.
Is there a way I can test the motor with a multimeter? Any other ideas?
Without really paying attention to your description it could be a cracked pump through freezing if it's had the opportunity to become frozen. Some cheapie washers have plastic pumps which sounds a bit cack to me.
There's no sound of straining, no clicks, humming or anything. Lifeless. Perhaps some mechanical damage has caused an internal fuse to blow? No fuses visible though or any place they might be.
Is it the ECU?
D'oh.
Took all the switches out, tested them, all fine - put it back together - works.
I think it just needed the attention. A bit like wwaswas.
