Don't do that then?

Latest iOS on there? Change WiFi channels? Reboot the router? Firmware upgrade for the router?

Double check as my wifi iphone has been awesome except in the bathroom on the toilet where I lose a bar 😆

I can even use the wifi in my driveway and when I drive off.

Try another device although my laptop is better than my iphone for wifi.

You could try and change your DNS setting on phone to 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4. Just note the original one incase!

Changed the dns to what you said and no better. Router is brand new replacement for old one from sky. Getting just under 5 mb on lap tops but .25 on the Jesus! ****!

Go into router settings.

Read your router instructions for the password and user name if required.

If your laptop is down on speed then its not your iphone.

Your router needs to be setup or moved away from interferring objects like your house lol sorry I meant metal things etc.

What was your old router speed like?

First use some software to find out what channels your neighbours are using then change yours to avoid colliding with those channels:

Ideally pick one that doesn't partially overlap with any of the other channels using this diagram:

Just tried the Ookla Speedtest.net app on my Jesus phone 4:

(with no other apps running, sat downstairs with the router upstairs in the study)

I've been having problems with my bb connection full stop but I phone 3 has always been similar to the lap tops we have. So no we're all sorted and getting almost our maximum potential, but the I phone 4 will just not play with this router! I use speedtest.net as my main speed checker as it was recommended to me by an IT mate. But the I phone is just doing my head in!
