Is it just me or is there a massive media over reaction to this ? I mean , to compare his comment about not understanding English irony with Enoch Powell's rivers of blood speech is surely stretching things a bit far .

Its all about context though - I don't think it was the statement he made so much as the 'Make England Ironic Again' baseball cap he was wearing when he said it.
