Used to love tripping out to Oxygene & Equinoxe in a dark room and headphones as a teenager... hope the O2 show blows me away!
I'm sure the light/laser shows are enjoyable, but if you strip all that away, I find the music exceedingly bland and insipid tbh. Ok for film scores, but just doesn't stand up on it's own as music, imo.
Bit like a trancey trip-hop version of Phillip Glass or something. The sort of thing you'd have on quietly in the background at a nice polite dinner party for friends who are interior designers or aromatherapists or something like that.
Hence, it don't get played in my gaff. I won't tolerate such poncery. 😀
