In our house we play Boggle on Pogo.com a well known gaming site. All's been well for years and nothing particular has changed on the computer. There's some issue with Java installation now though. I've managed to re-install latest version as administrator, and Boggle works just fine - but when I switch user, it doesn't work and Boggle says we don't have Java. Why would this be? I thought once a programme was installed it would work for all users? Do i need to change something in my setting or tick a box somewhere? Help much appreciated - it's doing my nut in! 😆
check the environment variables set for your admin account and for the user account - for example a key one is JAVA_HOME which tells a program where to find the java installation
Thanks for replying TG - a bit over my head 😳
I'll keep trying...... 😀
