Went for a ride round Rutland water today. Was gonna go to the Peaks, but mega-unfit at the moment and we weren't sure how muddy it would be. Rutland was a bit of a cop out really, but it's close & convenient.

Almost like a spring day...!

Got back from my ride to find the Christmas tree in the garden, we didn't get a no-drop type this year, and mrsmidlife was worried some of our more precious (to us, no real bling) decorations were going to get smashed as they fell off with all the needle drop. This was hoovered yesterday morning! Can you see where the base was?
