Don't really know Leeds. Need to park conveniently for thr First Direct arena for Sunday.

Also close by food that is good and close to the parking location.

Happy to pay good money for food and/or parking. Best options/convenience please. Only food not on the agenda is Asian - preferably. (And not naff chains.)

Thanks.

Plenty of parking in Leeds. It’s a small centre and the Arena is fairly central

lots of good food too - what do you like, cos you’ll find it there

I don't want to be in a car park that gets rammed on the way out if possible.

Food: Steak, decent burgers, BBQ, mediterranean, italian, fish, brasserie etc.

Is it a sit down dinner you're wanting?

park at Tetleys which is the biggest car park in town. then walk to arena.

you will pass every type of food establishment along the way.

On street parking in Leeds is chargeable until 10pm so probably makes sense just to suck it up and pay to park on the street (probably cheaper after 6pm) and you know you'll pretty much be straight away. Avoid the bottleneck that will be Woodhouse Lane or Merrion Centre car parks. Me - I always park about 10 mins walk away on the street near Park Square and then walk past all the bars and restaurants for a brew on the way. No stress and you can dine at Sous Le Nez for the Menu du Soir - http://www.souslenez.com/our-menus/menu-du-soir/

The Reliance and The Swine That Dines are both on North Street - 5 mins to the Arena; the swine have a Pie Sunday on the 9th.

NCP just around the corner.

That looked perfect but closed Sunday.

No Sous-Le-Nez. Try Kendells Bistro instead also close enough for a stroll to the arena and far enough not to be affected by parking congestion.

EDIT also closed on Sunday but will leave it here for the next what restaurant in Leeds thread. MaccyD's?

Thanks. Looks like the Reliance or The Swine if we can get there early enough.

I tend to park in The Light these days, even though Merrion Centre & St. John’s centre are nearer to the arena. Still only a short walk. Parking charges after 6pm capped at (I think) £6

food? Take your choice, Leeds has pretty much everything.

if the gig is in December you could get Currywurst & chips, or a 50cm long Bratwurst in a baguette at the German Christmas market at Millennium Square. Open until 9:30pm weeknights, 7:30m Sunday

One of the chains i've not been to is Miller & Carter. Anyone done one of these?

https://www.georgesgreatbritishkitchen.co.uk/leeds-restaurant/ (small chain) is in The Light / Headrow. The Light Q Park is tight / compact though despite fitting my 2m high van in so could be a bit busy at kicking out time. I'd still look to park on the street.

St Pauls Street or Park Square. £3 after 6pm. You can probably get a bit closer but the on-street parking gets a bit more sparse and loading bay oriented plus you'll be launched onto the loop road if you're not careful. If that happens you'll be going around until Wednesday. You know you may well be fine in the multi stories but I'm one of those people with a pathological hatred of queuing as a result of poor planning or laziness.

Great little car park here. Close to the Arena and to roads out

https://goo.gl/maps/k6tHYav7vs j"> http://Dropped pin near Unnamed Road, Leeds LS2 8HX https://goo.gl/maps/

Its small so gets full quickly but it’s close to Reliance. There’s a Brewdog nearby as well. And Northbar is good also. As is Wax bar

st Paul’s area good too btw

Reliance really good, been there many times. Just down the road is the Brunswick, went in there for the first time last weekend. Nice cocktails and vibe. Didn't have any food but they did have a kitcchen. I'd quite like to try it believe they do good Sunday lunches.

Swine that dines is epic. Have to spend quite some time there though if doing the tasting menu. Good luck getting a table though.

All of these places atare a bit out of town, which is a good thing so far as I am concerned.

Surprised no one's mentioned the Trinity car park. £4 all night after 5pm and 15 mins walk to the arena right through the city centre past all the aforementioned food places.
