Feeling human again now that I don't look like a 3rd rate Jarvis Cocker tribute act. Only took a 20 minute queue in the rain

I’m undecided.  My hair I’d now in Cancellara mode making me look faster on the bike.   I may have it tired but try keeping it long.

Also waiting until later also though.

At least 4 barbers on the high street along from me, all were busy and had a queue of desperate men. Much more so than the 3 pubs that were open.

All three barbers I walked past had smaller queues than on a usual Saturday afternoon.

Booked in on Monday at my usual place, he's been doing appointments via FB to save people queuing. He's busy anyway even for normal walk-in stuff so his only option now is to do pre-booked only.

Can't wait, mine is starting to stick out of my head at weird angles!

Did the bloke who cut your hair look like he should be welding an old VW camper?

Being a slaphead With a pair of clippers has never been better 😃

I’m waiting until September to see what happens to both my hair and the nation.

Pretty sure visits to a barber are very much a thing of the past, pre-and-post C19, now I’ve got a clipper that’s easy to use and takes roughly five minutes for a once over!
Ten quid a time better off, money that’s better spent on beer.

Always used clippers and the current wife for mine. If she gets it wrong, she has to face it everyday. £20 clippers from Argos last about 10 years. She has had her hair done though and looks less grey and less like Neil from the Young Ones.

Home haircut for me today, bought some lock down clippers so as long as the missis doesn't mind doing it, I'll save the money.

Also had me eyebrows waxed. Yup.

I shaved my head mid lockdown, turned out it was hiding more thinning than I thought 😬! Got a little hair island/ ox bow lake going on. I thought I might get to at least my 30s but hey ho! At least I can say it was my choice haha! Just getting a head start on it.

Home haircut for me as well, by a 14yo with some Wahl clippers that have paid themselves 3x over already

We may have been a little optimistic on the coloured comb this time. I will not need another for a while.

Pre booked for thursday night. Bleached it blonde(ginger) the other week much the annoyance of the wife, gave in and she's re-dyed it so I now look like a goth.

Massive queue in town yesterday morning.
did make me laugh a lot at the hair state of some of them.
I bought clippers the weekend before the lockdown so coming up to haircut number 4 with them and am now saving money on the purchase

Ok now i have a dilemma.  Ive an appointment on Wednesday at my Barbers.

Having taken about 4 months to reach a semblance of Fabien Cancellara locks flowing from my helmet in a ilusion of speed and power, do i neaten that up and keep the style, or go back to a neatly trimmed Salesmans look?

Had mine today. SUCH a relief!

Work has an "open calendar" policy for all staff apart from the CEO. Basically everyone can see everything which helps with scheduling meetings and so on, even company travel gets put in and it's not uncommon to see personal appointments and commitments such as "picking the kids up from swimming" or "cinema" or "after work beers!"

A lot of appointments just called HAIRCUT! have appeared over the last week or so. 😅

Had mine done today. Not sure the weight loss and aero improvement helped on tonight's ride.

I’m in Wales, I put myself on the waiting list at my usual place a coupe of weeks ago, when WAG releases the regs on the 9th I’ll get to find out how long after the 13th I’ll have to wait.

Now they’ve lifted the travel ban I’m sorely tempted to head over the border to see if I can grab a cut, it’s driving me nuts. The top is thinning so doesn’t grow that quick but the back is as virile as it was 20 years ago - I’ve stumbled into a mullet!

Counting down the hours to my appointment at 5pm on Sat 11th.
I'm normally in the chair every 4 weeks; last time was Feb so it's getting on for 5 months...

Ahhhhh. Thats better.   All well managed at the Shop, bookings only, only 2 customers in the shop at once, Barber and customer wearing masks, kit disinfected.  Price has gone up to reflect 4 months lost rent and the cost of PPE, I don't begrudge them that though.

I still cam home and washed my hands, face and hair though, but am feeling refreshed!

I hate the barbers. I've not been to one since June 2012 (wedding cut, hated it as usual....), and before that was about, well actually I have no idea. I'm 44 and reckon I've been to a barbers about 5 or 6 times since I was 22!

Used to get the GF/wife to cut it but then I took over as we usually ended up arguing. I just shave it all off now though as I'm thinning too much on top to bother with hair....

Maybe just knock up a robot hairdresser if you're scared of CV-19 & barbers?

Had mine cut last week. The missus has kept the back and sides in check with the clippers but for the first time in my life I had hair in my eyes.
Kept a little length on top, start of a good comb over.

I treated myself to a cordless Wahl Senior clipper, which I'm very pleased with. My wife is my barber now.

Hmmm. Undecided. My Chinese lockdown clippers do a reasonable job. They need two more cuts to get to break even. At the moment I'm not sure the barber cut is £8 better.

Haircut or a couple of beers?

Had mine cut Saturday. I can actually feel the weight difference!

Also, as part of their Covid regs I had to have my hair washed. It was lovely, felt a bit 'water boarding' to start, but seems I like it.
