I have my ~250 albums ripped losslessly and some converted to mp3 for phone.
What's the easiest/quickest way to identify the remaining ones to be comressed then compressing them? Ordering songs in order of compression 1st then alphabeticcaly 2nd so those will be at the top/bottom of the list, select and "create mp3"?
Bump
Iphone?
There is a setting to load a lower bitrate onto the phone, without compressing your whole collection. Your phone has to be connected to itunes, then its under the music tab.
Under the view options you should be able to select and then display a column showing what type of file you have, then sort on that column. If you are transferring to an iPod/Phone you can tell iTunes to compress the sync files from lossless to 128kbs which should be on the summary tab when the phone/pod is connected.
Ta, it's to an android, I can do that stuff, it's just how to display & select those files I've not already compressed.
You can create a smart playlist, and just set the bit-rate to greater than your desired rate.
That will catch the tracks I've already compressed tho?
