Upgraded to itunes 11 about 10 days ago. Now each purchase ends with error -50 and the item doesnt download. After 4 or 5 further attempts it works...cant work out why it fails. System hasnt changed apart from going from itunes 10 to 11.
Other issue, the downloaded files are getting located in my itunes media library, they seem to be stuck in the downloads folder.
Anyone had similar and been able to fix the issues?

Found the update to version 11 crap too....wouldn't transfer all my stored music onto the iPod, duplicated loads of tracks in my library etc....still Apple eh, it just works.
Right, there is an option in Preferences (under Store) to add purchased items to the Cloud - untick this and it seems to be a bit more stable.
Everything I've got is now on my actual harddrive and appearing in the right places in the Playlists.
Still have about 14 songs sitting in the Downloads folder and not in the media folder - the folders are titled the name of the song and the item inside the folder is called download.m4a - when the system moves the file to the right location, the download name changes to the song title...but I've got 2 albums with about a quarter of the tracks in the correct location and the rest are in this Download folder...no idea how to move them properly (could do it manually but they'd then get lost from iTunes)...
