We've been posting about it all day.

Strikes me lots there is lots of focus on cure, not enough on prevention.

Matt, that's what I see in my AO. Pushing people to breaking point and beyond,  then being surprised when they can't cope and require help. It's a bit perverse if i'm honest, glad i'm leaving.

Hell with all this special day nonsense, I'm continuing to be not mentally healthy all day. Damn the man!

Joking aside I spent a fair bit of time with our students today, it's a pretty simple thing we're doing but usually it's all about trying to get students who're struggling to get in touch with the councellors and support staff, today a whole bunch of Just Normal Staff who've experienced mental health issues to be more at the front, to try and normalise it a bit more and take it away from "It's OK for you to not be OK" to "Look at all these other randoms that you assume are OK but aren't". Interesting day, no idea if it'll really count for anything but it's worth trying things. I'm really unstressed about talking about these things to people but for some of the folks that were involved it was brave as all hell, really impressive
