Just to clarify they're sayings, not actually catch phrases.

A poor 22 and I'm the same, I'm sure I know them just can't get the right wording...I really hate these - they get posted and I always end up getting sucked in by them...hahaha, I end up wasting hours trying to work them out and never can then resort to assistance as I can't seem to walk away.
Given workload, I'm strangely happy to be doing this one.
As usual, thanks for posting this up!

what happens if you click the stuck thing? does it give you all the answers or just the one you're over?

Arrghhhh. Ok it’s for charity, it’s for fun. But could they not have given slight leeway for wording/syntax. A missing ‘and’ in a phrase and it’s sorry wrong answer.

So is that a clue or a request for payment! Think I’ve got it but doesn’t like my attempts to word it.

Elephants trunk?

3 wise monkeys?

Bloody fish everywhere?

Whatever that deal is with the lampshade?

It’s neither a cello, nor a violin. The sweatbands should help

Ones that I think are clues but I have no idea....

Crisps
Postcard
Copper lamp?
Trout
Elephants trunk
Picture with eyes
Picnic basket
Bottle with straw
Blank to-do list
Skiers
Playing cards
Empty chest
Antelope spitting water

That's misleading. The instrument is still a violin no matter what you call it.

Copper lamp?

Is it a lamp or an upturned bath? This isn't a clue, I'm stuck too!

37/62 and all gone quiet on here. The fact I have 1 more than the wife is the only thing keeping me sane. More clue trading needed.

up to 57/62 so far

identified what 3 of the remaining things are likely to be, but not the other 2. the chap on the floor could be (part of) 2 things, so that'd leave one more.

The chap,is indeed linked to another thing nearby.

Still stumped by most of these myself...

Crisps
Postcard
Copper lamp?
Trout
Elephants trunk. Where is it (In general terms of course)?
Picture with eyes
Picnic basket. If you can't get this you're beyond help...
Bottle with straw
Blank to-do list. I wonder if what it's attached to is important?
Skiers
Playing cards
Empty chest
Antelope spitting water

Cards and chest May need some joined up thinking too

The chap is definitely related to the chair. Got that one. Just wondering if he's something else as well.

58/62, so that's straw, postcard and 2 other things to go

the to do list and the contents of what it is attached to are 2 different things
the toast that's on fire and the packet of crisps are a combined thing
the treasure chest and playing cards are similarly a combined thing
the picture with eyes was a sod, and probably the hardest thing we've got so far
eggs is 2 things, just in case anyone had got one and neglected the fact that there's 2 points available there

edit - just got the straw one... that is a proper ffs one (that is you need to type it in exactly right)

Postcard. Lyrics create a state of mind. Where would you then be on holiday? (I really like this one but you need to zoom in and read the message)

You need really good eyesight to work out it was a postcard from peter pan, tinkerbell and one other character from the story, and their home address is that of a Madness song

elephant is really easy. you'd kick yourself if any clues were given (I think one was give earlier)
straw really is obvious, but just needs to be typed in right (my earlier post had some very subtle clues 😉 )
picture with eyes - doesn't really help that the image resolution is so bad, but apparently it is a banquet going on in the room

oh it was Tinkerbell and Puck, not Peter, whom the postcard writer was away on holiday with
that's a a bad one

60 down and I'm not sure where the other 2 are

if it's any help, this is a bit higher resolution, so can open it in a separate window and zoom in more...

61/62

the pink thing on the dining chair needs to be entered in exactly the right way too

haven't a scooby where the last item even is

Mrs P. now got the elephant and picture over fire one. The latter I had answer to but despite variations on spelling wasn’t getting it accepted. Evil sods who designed this quiz.

Postcard think I’ve got at last. Cheers.

Can anyone confirm if "out of the frying pan into the fire" is an answer, and if so what the actual text they're wanting?? Many thanks.

7 to go

still missing the following: (some of which won't be clues)

postcard
what looks like a finger with a sticking plaster on it on the top of the chair
waste paper basket under the table
What appears to be a plum on a trophy on the mantelpiece
silver sticks and canoes on the mantelpiece
Man on floor and flowers. - assuming its not just the chair
the big copper bath tub / silver thing on top
the ram on the table
statue to the left of the fireplace
wooden object next to the above statue

Any hints?

suspect that some of them I know the answer but not the exact syntax the quiz is looking for.

also possibly missing another clue o do with the knight who appears to be holding an unusual weapon which may be part pen?

postcard is the most clever clue in there
the digit with a plaster on is a clue (the answer is more obvious than the clue)
the waste paper basket is more related to the waste than the bin
the plum and trophy is one
silver sticks, ram, statue, and copper tub we think aren't anything
don't see any canoes
the man has got to be more than the one related to the rocking chair?

still on 61/62. still no idea where the last is. either the man, a 3rd one for the clock, or a 2nd for the armour

Waste paper basket

2 other mystery clues?

finally got the plum one. - another one where it is extremely picky on the wording.

don’t see any canoes

look on the mantelpiece there are what appear to two paper canoes with pebbles in front of them. - It feels like there should be an obvious phrase including the words rock and boat.

Waste paper basket

think about what the antelope is doing, not the antelope

for the basket what would you not want?

Still none the wiser on the antelope. I’ve tried every combination of spitting, splashing, soaking that I can think of.

you'll get there eventually 😉

can see the canoes now, but they are pretty well camoflaged. was wondering why the picture with many words (didn't count them, but guessed the number) is actually a plank of wood?
