This year I've gone for personalised Converse Crochet. Full of holesome goodness. You get to choose colour of the base ,top and stripes. Was happy with a white base but once I pressed the black base option I knew that it rocked.

Obviously the man from Converse looked at STW and liked what he saw.

Mainly a pair of Barbour Redhead Chukka boots for work.

A pair of Etnies or Addidas Terra GTX (or whatever they're called) for not work.

Hot! It's warm at best, which is nice but it isn't hot....

Any way, some Clarks shoes for work, 4 or 5 different pairs of trainers for not at work, DC, Nike Adidas or New Balance. Or Volcom flip flops.

Ooh and 5ten districts for the ride in on the mtb this morning.

Work doesn’t count so for bumming around in it’s either of these options (not including running either)

According to Strava there may be another option imminent on that front.

For me, it'll be these:

These:

Or these:

Work: Timberland Larchmont chukka boots (because they go with everything)
Home: Reebok Nano v.4 in black
Bike: Specialized BG SPD shoes, so old they have disappeared from the internet, but they still work
Air: Old, trashed, but still good Vans Floyd in brown

Tan topsiders.
A pair of Caterpillar light b oots for strimming and mowing duties later.

Well, bloke off of Vampire Weekend seems to be making this a yoof fashion. And he's with Quincy Jones' daughter, so... er, no, I still couldn't wear it.

Merrell Freewheel lace, cycling specific shoes. Sadly no longer made, else I'd buy some more as very comfy....

Did they recommend them as being gay friendly?

Look similar to the Skechers I've got, although not cycling specific. Very comfy though:

They are On Runnings - Cloud Terry. On make running shoes and also casual trainers with a sport/running focus. I really like em’ but they ain’t cheap. On make the Cloud and Cloud Terry in loads of colours and my current pair are the grey/white ones above.. the Blue ones are their Cloudventure trail running shoes.. I’ve also got their Cloudventure Peaks for running, but they are running specific..

Linky to On clouds...

They're not as available as they were, sadly 🙁

I'm also sad about Merrell Freewheels being stopped. I have two pairs, black and brown

They're very tired now, used in the office, casual use and for cycling. They're actually very good shoes for pottering around on the brompton

Surely the answer to this question is either wetsuit boots or 5-10s?

Cheers CFH. I can't really get on with Sperrys, so Sebagos have been my go-to, but they're pretty much unavailable in N America these days. Will keep an eye out!

During the day, weekdays, a pair of these:

Portwest Steelite.

Pretty much the rest of the time I wear a pair of these:

I like them so much I’ve got four pairs, all from eBay, none cost more than £40, retail £170. Meindle Desert Fox ex-Army.

When it’s really warm, and I get home on an early shift at 4pm, I put on my old Teva sandals, that I bought in LA in 1993. I don’t think they were even available in the UK for another few years. Still in very good nick, they don’t get a lot of wear...

Ridiculous girl's shoe
I was wearing Adidas Stan Smiths, but after a run in these bad boys at lunch I am NOT taking them off now - they are so comfortable. Nike Epic React Flyknit 2 with no filter - they are really that colour - cliched early 90s tattoo model's own!

Mogrim - those Skechers have just been bookmarked and added to my Amazon wishlist. Just the sort of thing I was looking for thanks.
The Skechers Relaxed fit are perfect for my wide flipper feet so I can ge the right size instead of going a size up to make room for my little toe 🙂
