Didn't envy the riding commuters this morning. Bloody chilly at work up on the open ground 😮
Yep, first morning in a long while that I felt the need to don a jacket. Clouds are scudding away overhead, coming from the Grim North. Winter is a' coming in....
I was one of those riding commuters and you were right not to envy me. 😉

4 degrees as I jumped in the van at 7.30 and blowing a fair chat! I fortunately had the top half of cowboy mans kit on. Thermals are on!

The ride in was fine 🙂 Not looking forward to the headwind home 🙁

Wasn't impressed with the headwind, and my toes were freezing.

I rarely come across heated seats *pause for dogging based joke*, but the last time I sat on one, and didn't realise it was a heated, I thought I had pissed myself as the warmth started emanating from below.

Went out for a after-work ride last night and when I packed my kit bag it was very mild.
So, I wasn't really dressed for the occasion, as the weather change was so dramatic throughout the day yesterday. Luckily I had my 'emergency' waterproof in my rucksack that blocked a lot of the wind. Still bloody chilly in places!
Windy as heck out there too... nice though, crisp and lovely... but hard work into the wind.
I rode in this morning (on a Kona, not a bear sadly) and I started with a windproof on but stopped to take it off. I am that hardcore.
Update:
The air conditioning is on now as the thermometer is showing 25°C in my office. Glad I have shorts on.

I had to deal with a new hazard on the way to work this morning:
conkers on rural roads that haven't been squashed yet. like dodging marbles, had a bit of a moment when the back stepped out over one!

Heating on the office here too, blokes stripped to the Tie and girls hunkered under 4 layers of coats and balaclavas... Temp reads 26C here too..
