we had the bleedeers a few weeks ago but seems a second wave is here today. ( coincidence I dont think )
Last week for us, later than usual. Three nests round the back, two on the front.
My lad was out for a long run that afternoon. He wasn't happy!
I got absolutely bashed by them on the dog walk yesterday.
Discovered last weekend the little gits had dug a nest into the *wall* of our conservatory when they all decided to come out at once on the inside.
Had them landing in my crash helmet on a ride yesterday. Was like riding through small clouds at head height. Feel them crawling around my head and mastered the art of helmet ejection , shake head and helmet back on while still riding, every 1/2 mile.
It is! It all kicked off just as I was stood on my drive selling a van. They were everywhere.
I got bitten on my arms by some flying ants this morning in Tobermory. Horrible little bstards
How fickle weather is. Went from flying ant day to biblical rain and a belter of a thunderstorm. 15 miles from home, with no jacket. 😆
