Perhaps I'm being a bit sensitive, but we've got someone getting all defensive about inserts, someone else feeling like they have to justify being ill and (this is the big one!) someone saying my Amazon deals aren't any good.
Camomile tea anyone? 🙂

tea and flowers, get in the sea !
Stick your tea, and grab a decent coffee, or could that be the reason for the atmosphere - too caffeined up ?
Your tea makes me want to run a chamomile away! 😡
Speaking for myself, I'm not angry. Whether is personality, writing style, topic or not being good at communicating via this media, within STW some people can do no wrong, some are tolerated and others dismissed.
Its life, right? I just felt I tried in the past many times to ask for help, but had been dismissed as a bit of a grinch whilst at the same time I wanted to highlight something that could be easily overlooked within the cycling community. It was intended to be a little bit of an FU to my detractors I admit, but with honest informative intentions.
Anyway, coffee & birthday cake - my daughter was 11 yesterday - FTW for me 🙂
I didn't read what you wrote but I disagree.
Hello? have I missed something? 🙂
Amazon deals aren’t any good.
Have you got a problem with that ? 🙂
Tea - uch
I didn’t read what you wrote but I disagree.
Forum Motto innit ?
Camomile is absolute filth. Its like drinking Lynx.
MY fave is moaning about something either you have spent hours watching in detail or have only watched a tiny bit and formed an opinion from that! If it's the former do something else with your time ffs!
I've actually been working this morning so haven't been in til now.
Now i'm pissed right off, can't ****ing believe i've missed all the ****ing fun!!!!!
Nothing like a cup of tea to calm you down. And that's NOTHING LIKE A CUP OF TEA
that, sir, is a weak vegetable soup.
Serving tea without biscuits?? What the hell is wrong with you?? I'm out...

I'm aware that I'm now also just being contrary to a stranger on the internet too...
I've been on the insert thread and amazon thread. People are disagreeing yes, but they are doing so by providing a counter example of their own experience or providing their own links/information; and doing so in full sentences with no name calling.
None of that is saying "you're wrong" but providing an equally valid counter point. And anyone reading it (I've read both threads and contributed to neither so far so I'm a 'neutral') gets a decent balanced discussion to read and take from it what they can.

Darjeelings surely?
Ive just read the Inserts and Amazon threads based on your recommendation. I enjoy reading a good squabble but there was none to be seen. In fact, a lot less than most posts on here. Think you may be feeling a little oversensitive OP.
OP
No need to get in a stir, I've Sencha an Oolong link to a T site that should Matcha your requirements. Other people will be Green when they see you so content, and PuErh,ing like a tiny kitten. #nostorminaTcup
😆
Look, I'm just saying that my opinions are my opinions and if your own personal life experiences mean that your opinions are different from mine, I'll fight you.
Oi! Outside..Now
😉
It's rather lovely on the women's forum.
sorry @oldtennishoes - that was a somewhat grumpy reply from me, an Amazon disliking individual.
I really, really need to stick to my 'just post positive things' online mantra.
It's Tuesday. No-one likes a Tuesday.
The most univerally disliked day of the week. No one can really put a finger on why either, so instead the base level of general discontent is just a little bit higher. Moreso in the morning.
Pop out for a bit, come back on Wednesday afternoon. Reckon it will be lighter by then.

That's easy. It's the accountant's day in the office. He's a monotone bore that talks with his mouth full, chews with his mouth open and masticates at a volume that an h&s assessment requires ear defenders. As if none of that was bad enough or seems his job is purely to delegate things he feels are beneath him.

That's OK matt - I'm blaming the weather 🙂
That lovely tea cup and saucer shirley needs a wee biscuit to accompany it. Maybe a piece of shortbread.

When I want your opinion, I'll tell you what it should be.

Best not head over to the DeWalt thread.. OP has got the right hump!
I'm ever so angry because I wrote something hilarious about wooden wheels in response to something that made me chuckle about inner tubes on the onset thread but the forum broke just as I posted it. #sounfair
Edit: omg I must be getting old as Victor Meldrew doesn't look all that especially old - not as I remember at all!

Yup, how was only 54 when the first series aired. Probably younger than the average on here 🤣🤣
I, on the other hand, had a rather pleasant day, I tried a couple of big national tool suppliers looking for a specific type of tool to tighten and untighten several components on my bow, without damaging them, which neither had, then tried a small independent tool supplier, who after considering the suggestion I’d been looking for, actually an adjustable peg spanner, suggested a Boa jar and bottle opener! The perfect thing, and something I hadn’t thought of. Proves the benefit of small independent retailers.
Then I went over to Corsham, only about three miles away, but I’ve hardly ever been there. Lovely street full of nice little shops, went into the book shop and right in front of me was a hardcover copy of the new Terry Pratchett book “A Stroke Of The Pen”, a collection of stories Sir Terry had written for The Western Daily Press, and that had been completely forgotten for decades.
Followed by a nice snack and coffee in the café opposite.
Zen hugs, anyone? 🥰
Take your Zen hugs and ram em up yer pipe.
Being audited tomorrow, the wife's eaten the crisps for the kids lunch boxes AFTER I'd already driven in to town to get milk to rep!ace the stuff I hadn't drunk.THEN she goes and gets a glass of the wine I'd got her cos she'd had a bad day and didn't even offer me a glass. AND she's watching big brother. Not even going to start with the kids. Basil Fawlty levels if impotent apoplectic rage!

Ah, now it makes sense....
I tried a couple of big national tool suppliers looking for a specific type of tool
And now you've come to the right place .
And now you’ve come to the right place .

I’d expect nothing less.
And what’s with the ‘
’ crap that keeps randomly popping up in blocks of text? 🙄
Hmmm, seems to be some shonky crap when entering a word-space. I mean, seriously? Deary me. *sigh*
