Summertime..
Really should put my mud guards on my tripster and accept the cold wet darkness.

Anyone actually like the change to gmt?

Won't be for much longer. With Scottish devolution we can stop doing it.

Scotland has had devolution for several years now...

Anyway, if it's no longer summer it's time to stop shaving.

They won't be able to vote against our move to a new timezone now. Perpetual summer is within our grasp.

A lot of people up here are very much in favour of double summertime for the same reasons as you. And with more need, it starts getting dark around 3:30 up here in winter.

I freaking love winter, absolutely love it.

Long post work runs with the Milky Way clear over head, crisp clear mornings and the best sunsets and sunrises, skiing is on it's way. The colours of autumn in full swing, snow and ice crunching under crampons, long evenings blethering away in front of the fire after days on the hill.

Ticks and midges, get to * ya little ***** I'll see you in the spring.

I'm not saying I don't like it, quite the opposite, but I prefer the little light we get to be at the end of the day rather than the beginning.
