We've just driven from Bergamo to Varazze on the coast.  The first toll road was fine but the second one we ended up in the wrong lane, the one for the permit and they waived us through.  On leaving the toll road we didn't have a ticket for the machine so were charged €87.  In the grand scheme of things it's not the end of the world but still we only did about 80km on that bit of road so we shouldn't have paid anything near that much.  A quick search suggests it's possible to claim a refund based on an estimate of what you did.  Anyone here done it?

Speak to the people at the nearest PuntiBlu kiosk. They're not always directly on the motorway next to the tolls.

I'm still there.....!

Managed to delete your message after only two sentences..... If you message me again I can send you my number.

Yes, they have bikes for hire. Santa Cruz DH thingies.

Currently the park is only open on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

There's another small park, Mont Alpet, just 20 mins from St Gree, which is really well built and worth a ride!

They too have bikes for hire, are currently open only weekends, but every day during August.
