This is driving me potty....

I just re-started our TPlink wireless router and netgear switch as a colleague unplugged it.

No changes to any setting...

The laptops now will not connect, but the phones will...

I tried a double check of all the settings, and a second re-start.

Whassapaning? It is a daft one it seems (likely me)...

Is the wireless network still advertised/visible on your PC ?

Not connect (WPA authentication failure), or not get an IP address via DHCP?

Yep, password absolutely right (I can click on the 'show password' button to check).

Oddly, it has not remembered the password from before. 😕

It has IP address, and works just fine on three phones and (one) laptop. It also works fine plugged into the network cable at a desk, just not the wifi...

Have you tried shouting at it?

EDIT: if that doesn't work, start pinging things and see how far you get.

Have you _really_ got a DHCP lease?

Our Netgear router went potty the other day, after a lot of electrical activity. Various devices couldn't connect. Off and reboot resolved it (yeas, really!)

You've rebooted the laptop of course, yes?

Laptop and router re-booted.

All now works (so two laptops suddenly started working on wifi again), but not mine. 🙁

Meh. nearly home time. I will let the router sleep on it.
