Hi

Is there anyway I can stop google chrome from going to the google search page of the country I am in and to make it go to my home page of google.co.uk?

I am in currently in Belgium for the next few days and it keeps going to google.be instead of co.uk, despite my home page set to .co.uk

I think it is in the Underbonnet settings of Chrome. There you can select which search engine, delete the others and make the co.uk one your primary one. I had to do the same, just takes a few minutes fiddling.

go to settings:
chrome://settings/browser

Search>Manage search Engines and make this one your default:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=%s&btnG=Google+Search&meta=cr%3DcountryUK|countryGB&aq=f&oq=

If you go to http://www.google.com/ncr it'll set a no country redirect cookie, not sure if it'll stay on .uk or .com but give it a try
