Gents - the wide IT expertise on here might be able to fill in the blanks here for me.
I used to do this all the time on pre 365 word using the insert object function and selecting adobe pdf object and it would work - and i mean on countless reports over the years.
Now when i do it it gives me a really crappy un-readble resolution image inserted. These are technical drawings done in the same way and exported into PDFS(that standalone look fine and readable in acrobat) the same way i always did.
Even taking a snapshot of the adobe file and putting that in the word doc results in a blurry image which suggests that word is the issue - also as its the variable that has changed.
Any better ways to insert these PDF that will not result in the blurryness - Thinking about finishing the word document and getting IT to supply PDF pro or similar so i can insert them as pages in the final PDF - not ideal but its a solution.
Are you trying to insert it as an attachment, or display .PDF content inline in the doc?
If you simply open the .PDF with Word, what happens? Can you then C&P to your master document?
Are you using the web version or the standalone app? The online browser app can be a tad... idiosyncratic at times.
