So I don't want to get too much into the background of this, but I look after some 20+ TB of data over 3 sites, growing at around 8-10TB/year which has been backed up off site (3rd party). Due to some 3rd party shenangigans I'm looking at options, one of which is to bring the backup in house.
The issue is that we fill the disks and delete data on a FIFO basis, but still need to access the historical data so as well as backup I need a near line store. Which can grow at 10 TB/year (or less if we put one on each site).
Doable? and at what sort of cost?
