want to go camping isle of wight. got 2 kids. got a dog. want quiet... mid august.
Do you know a good campsite?
(maybe quirky, don't mind basic)
Stoats Farm near Totland Bay is nice. Basic but some nice walking/riding from the site.
At the other end of the scale, Nodes Point in St Helens was great when we stayed at Easter but I can imagine it being absolutely rammed in summer...
+ Stoats Farm has a great pub right over the road and theres a cafe, the Piano just down the road in Freshwater which is sublime. Fig and goats cheese salad with a Corona - THAT is what you want on a warm day on the island 😀
