Great video about Isla. It seems there's 250000 islabikes out there, swirling around in some sort of circular economy and she's now keeping that pool of bikes running.

We've had many islabikes and many good times with them. She did a great job! : applause

They do look a bit dated now, but at the time they were revolutionary and of such good quality that you almost never lost any money on them as inflation kept the 2nd hand prices about the same as the price paid. That and the fact that Isla actually kept and supplied spare parts, meant the things are lasting a hell of a long time.

Proper bikes for kids rather than gas tube Halfords specials or novelty themed bikes which were the only alternative when she started.  Applause emoji.

Isla is a legend

The original Isla Bikes, the Cervelo R series and the Tern GSD are probably the three most influential bike designs of the 21st century so far.
