My partner just used my credit card to make a purchase on this site.

https://new-leaf-products.com/

It's screaming scam to me - unrealistic Trustpilot scores, barely any web presence apart from that, owner and location of company hidden.

Do I cancel my card or am I worrying over nothing?

The site has been around for years according to whois which is usually a good sign! Seems to be Canadian. Why do you think the TP rating/reviews look dodgy? Seems ok I would say!

Dunno - it seems to have active FB/Insta/Tiktok accounts and has existed as a domain name since 2015? I'd say probably ok, but can never guarantee..

If you look at 1 and 2 star reviews on trust pilot and sort by most recent first it seems like just a handful and the owner is responding to them.  Doesn't seem too bad to me at the moment

Hmm.

I thought the many positive Trustpilot scores look like they're all from bots: 5 stars from "Cheryl Woodman" 39 minutes ago (1 review), 5 stars from "Devendra" 51 minutes ago (3 reviews) etc.

Domain was registered in 2015 but in Arizona (?), but they claim to be a UK-based company, and zilog has clearly read they are Canadian somewhere. So completely opaque at best...

Google earth reveals only a Go-daddy datacenter... so they've just bought a cheap domain....no physical address or phone number on the website.

@Mattyfez exactly. That's a red flag right?

New Leaf Products Ltd (the name in their T&Cs) has been going since 2015... 🤷‍♂️

Its not a good sign especially the lack of contact details.

That said its been registered for a long time and a quick search for them shows them selling on amazon as well.

I doubt I would trust them with my money and especially would skip eating anything from them.

I dont think they are a outright scam site in the sense of emptying your bank account though.

Agreed, that's why I tend to ignore the very best reviews and focus on what is actually said in the lower reviews. It gives you a clue as to what the real issues are.  I would be surprised if a site that has been around more than a year is a complete scam that would be risky to have your credit card with but I might be wrong

UK adress is registered here:

https://www.google.com/maps/ @51.5847877,-0.2191779,3a,53.7y,34.57h,99.25t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sKJhWDrZGPeb1ZQv9aq8xIw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

Looks like a shared office/boilerplate company, so maybe no actual inventory/warehouse space... so they might just be unit shifters/resellers and don't hold stock.

I'm really not happy they don't have a phone number or address on the website though.

The website looks alright to me tbh, if it's a scam it's quite a high effort one.

What they're selling on the other hand...

This.

The domain is due to expire shortly and looks to have been frobbed about a year ago so it's possible that it's been hijacked, but not really likely.  I'd be more concerned with the abject lack of contact information other than a web form should something go wrong, rather than it being an outright scam.

No actual contact details and the fact it doesn’t seem to accept PayPal would be a big red flag to me.

The products are a scam not the website.

Looks like a 3 hrs week type entrepreneur effort.
