You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hope I explain it OK. I'm trying to find out if there is an app (that works similar to a spreadsheet I guess) where you can put in details of what and how much you owe to different things? There is more than likely an easy answer to this I've probably overlooked but I'm struggling to think straight.
At the moment I am juggling figures nearly every day trying to make sense of it all and knowing what I need to try and pay and by when each week/month. Could do with something easier to put it all down on.
With Xmas coming pretty soon I'm trying to make sure I have enough to sort stuff out for the kids too without missing any payments.
Thanks
No specific recommendations but search for "personal finance" or similar.
Why not use a spreadsheet?
It doesn’t need to be complicated, could be as simple as Bill, date and amount.
I personally track my finances each month in a spreadsheet. I have a template which I duplicate and then name for the month.
I enter my bank balance at the top and at the bottom it tells me how much is left after the bills are paid.
As the month goes on and bills get paid I update the bank balance and delete the paid bills.
Simple but works
MoneyDashboard has a predictor of payments and income, budgets you can set etc. It links to your accounts, so you can in one place see how you are are doing against the predictions. Once you have identified and tagged payments for a couple of months, it learns and automatically tags them.
I've found it useful to work out how much we spend in a year in certain areas.
No mrs_oab doesn't get to see the breakdown in 'hobbies and pastimes' under the 'cycling' or 'outdoor kit' tags... 😳
Have a look at YNAB but sadly it isn't free
Thanks, I'll check them out.

@matt_outandabout that bad? 😂
Some months...
Splitwise will let you do that - put spend into groups like categories or months.
