I bought a hario manual coffee grinder last week and the wing nut loosens itself off as it is used. I think it 'clicked' the first time I tried it, but then I stripped it down to look at the burrs and after I'd put it back together it no longer made a click when I tightened the wing nut up and loosened it off again.

Can't see anything obvious, but it's very annoying having the correct grind at the start and getting coarser as you go on and the wing nut loosens.

Anyone had the same? And knows how to fix it?

Did you get it free with a Wiggle order?

Hate to be that guy, but if it worked before you took it apart, chances are you haven't put it back together properly.

Which one, mini or skerton?

On the mini there are obvious ridges on the wingnut and the plastic bit that clips into the burr which should be touching to create the click as you tighten or loosen. So if it is not clicking have a look there. Is the spring in place? Skerton, I don't know.

Ok so Muppet of the week award goes to ... me

I'd put the wing nut back on upside down. Works fine now!
