Just been asked what I might like for Xmas, and as I generally enjoy reading the mag, combined its limited availabilty in shops near me a subscription and premier membership on here seems to make a lot of sense.
The only thing is, I don't want to commit a years worth of mag costs if it can't be guaranteed that the swearing that is being eradicated from the forum will still appear in the magazine. Or at least an offer of assurance that some consistancy is achieved between the two. To be honest though I'm not sure a completely sanitised mountain bike magazine is really what I want, there are other boring mags out there that don't appreciate the lifestyle and culture in the same way as STW if that's what I was after...
Is anyone else feeling like this... and is it too late to get Santa to hook me up?
You'll easily get the subscription in time. My guess is though that you will start from the next issue after Christmas.

Anyone confirm this? I was going to buy the mag yesterday but given it had been hinted I was being given a subscription for Christmas I didn't bother buying it....Don't want to risk missing the free calendar 😀
If you buy a subscription now it will start with issue 63, which is out next year. However, if you buy a sub in a box (gift sub) then it will come with issue 62 in the box. The sub will start as soon as you return the pre-paid subs form that's in the box.
We have added the option to have issue 62 sent out from us here in the office to our standard subscription in the shop for just an extra £2.
It'll depend on when the present was boughtas to which issue is the start.
