or does the BBC news website and associated video take ****in ages to load? I'm on high speed cable and it's still 30 sec plus to load a page.... just sayin' like.
It's just you, I'm afraid. Fine for me 🙂
Aha, it's not just me - finally flew into a rage-lite and emailed the BBC
Their response......
"We have identified an issue on some Mac operating systems with particular Flash versions and settings. We believe the issue is caused by a combination of Mac OS X 10.6 and Flash 10.1 plugin.
We aim to release this month a completely new embedded video player to
the News site. The new player has been completely rewritten in
ActionScript 3 code and should resolve current issues, as well as being
significantly lighter in page load.
In the meantime, we could suggest you roll back your Flash plugin to a
previous version i.e. Flash Player 10,0,45,2 appears to fix the issue."
*pah*
BBC should just sack off flash and move to HTML5 already.....
Thought MACs were infallable and the some users think they dont need flash, sticking to the jobsian truth, obviously.

MAC is something quite different to what you think it is.
A MAC is a unique device code to identify a device connected to a LAN generally.
