On both my work and home computer it does nothing if the text box is at the top of the screen rather than in the middle.

Have I lost my Google-fu, is my browser out of date or is Google having a "benny"?

No issues at home, but work laptop has been doing the same for a couple of days using Google Chrome and an ancient Internet Explorer.

I just got a chromebook and actually thought the results it produces have got worse and less useful.

Not seen what you have seen Harry

I was getting this at work as well, not checked the home computer. Are your work computers networked?

Council won't let us have the park for fear of upsetting somebody who has spent the last 3 years dithering over signing a maintenance deal.

Had an issue at work with Google not returning search results and the fix (IE browser) was to add the web address under compatibility view. Not sure if this will help.

My computer at work has been doing this. I have to close my browser and open it again to get it to work. Computer at home has been fine.

Don't know if it's just a mobile device issue, but when I try an image search, Google doesn't seem to offer the URL for the image to enable it to be shown on a forum like this one, all it seems to do is take me to the page the image appears on.
Also general search seems very 'thin', if that makes sense? Doing searches in iOS 9, if that makes a difference.
