Have thought of company name but the initials would be BMMW - would the provider of outside lane hoggers tool of choice be sending me a letter when I'm turning over bazillions a year?

Only if they have that as a copyright. I can't see why they would.
Or if you make cars that didn't have working indicators

The company would be involved in automotive restoration and a little design&fabrication work. Certainly not building 99mph polyester suit transporters.

The initials would only be used on laser cut products etc where the full name is too long.
Anyway if the lawyers of STW reckon its fine then that's good enough for me 😀
