Usually no problem for me but this morning nothing is working.
If anyone else is having problems I'll get in touch with ST techs, otherwise I'll try to work out what I'm doing wrong.

Yeah it wouldn't work for me the other day on the laptop. Worked on my phone in the end.

I've only ever posted about two things on the new classifieds because I always get some sort of error or other.

Anyone having issues adding photos to an ad today? Never had a problem in the past but now it tells me I am using a file format that is not appropriate as well as telling me I am posting as someone other than the author.

Found the issue. Apparently (and I may be the only one not to know this) Apple have changed the file format that photos are created in. They now use HEIC rather than JPG but this can be changed within the phones settings. Grrrrrrrrrr

Nope, no issues at all. Stopped using them after the 'upgrade'.

@weeksy Yes, my situation was different to yours it seems. Photos transferred from my iPhone to google photos and then downloaded to PC and they stayed in HEIC format. I have just plugged my phone into the PC and C&P'd the same photos directly across and they arrived as JPG which are now happily uploading to the classifieds advert. Hopefully if someone has the same problem they will see this forum post now.

I put three ads up the other day and it was always the first photo that did it, the rest were fine.

I just cancelled the first one then re-uploaded and it seemed to do the trick.

This was on a Windows 11 PC too.
