do they just jump for fun, or just when startled?
it can't possibly be a very efficient mode of transport. if I jump about for a bit, i'm knackered.

they achieve it through sprung tension in their legs, because they weigh literally nothing and them muscle is so strong it is effortless.
But if i were jumping a football field at a time i think i may join the circus (scaled up to human size)
