Ok so I'm not very good at this type of thing so am sure that what i need to be doing is very straight forward and I'm guessing by the messages I'm getting that it's a problem with the laptops USB ports.

Whenever I plug mine or the girlfriends iPod's in to my laptop I'm getting a message that 'USB Device not Recognised'! It goes on to say
'The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it'.

I've tried uninstalling i-Tunes and a whole load of the other recommended fixes on the Apple UK support pages but without success.

Anyone tell me home I can sort this please?

There's quite a lot online about solving a code 43 error, such as these...
