I need a bunch of protectors for iPhones/iPod Touches. Whats nice to use and doesn't cost a bomb?

I got a pack of two for £1 from Poundland. Seem to work well enough.

Not really worth bothering IMO - they're gorilla glass aren't they?

My old phone was gorilla glass and the only time I managed to properly scratch it was when a steel shelf panel dropped on it at work...

Dunno about that. Mrs iPhone (3GS) is all scratched to hell because she just lets it rattle around in her handbag next to her keys etc

I got a screen devil or demon from amazon. It works a treat. Had it on 2 years and it's been fine.

Just look on eBay for packs of ten gloss protectors. Mine get scratched to buggery because I sometimes put the phone in my pocket with my iPod, which has a full plastic case, or my keys, and both can scratch; you get bits of grit embedded in the plastic, and that can scratch Gorilla Glass. It's tough, but not scratch proof. With a cheap protector on the screen, and a clear Belkin case, free from Apple when I got my phone, I just shove it in any pocket and don't worry about it. The phone's in perfect nick after nearly two years as a result.

I've had two iphones since jan 2010 and have never scratched my phone despite so glass protector. I just avoid putting it in a pocket with any sharp objects.
