Iphone six, went blank as i was holding it and has never recovered. Its been "reset" and "recovered" via itunes to no effect. I know its working as it rings, vibrates etc. I just can see anything. I can "press" buttons so the captiveness is working.
Just thought id ask if anyone knows of a fix i can do before it has to to a shop...
Is it a Plus version? The screens have a known problem that Apple have a repair programme in place to cure.
Sometimes the connection pops free. You can press near the top of the screen to try and push it in. Or if need be open it up and look.

Is it blank, or just really really dark? Possibly the backlight

I've an iPhone 6 with the back light issue wysiwig can you repair these? Looks a bit too much of fiddle for me to try.
As in the controller chips gone? I don't have a hot air station so alas no.
Possibly I've replaced the screen and it's still black. No worries ta.
Yeah just go on eBay and look up IC chip replacement.
