Try updating just one of your apps, cant remember why but there was a glitch that was solved by doing this.

The authorize / deauthorize seemed to fix it. 🙂

i have the same problem with my Eurosport app on my itouch. Maybe because I'm still running 2.something, and don't want to pay to upgrade it.

Travis, you've got two choices, either put up with the app not working, or cough up and pay for the OS upgrade. It's hardly an earth-shattering amount of money.

it's £6 to upgrade isn't it?

if things are that tight maybe you should consider selling the ipod?

Could also be that the apps are crashing due to lack of memory.

Safari and Mail keep running in the background and can end up taking so much memory that nothing else will start (particularly on the older iPhones that have half as much RAM).

You can free upmemory by either rebooting, by making sure Safari doesn't have loads of tabs open, or just by shutting Safari and Mail down (hold Sleep till slider appears then hold Home till home screen appears).
