I've a 4S and last week uploaded the IOS 7 operating system. Phone has been absolutely fine since.
I've picked it up now and since the last time I've used it I've lost the majority of my contacts data including my favourites, the only data that is left are contacts relating to shared Facebook contacts.
Anyone experienced anything similar and is it possible to retrieve the missing data?
I'm not happy; the phone was full of numbers.
I had the same with my 4 a few months ago.... I just reconnected it to the computer and it put the numbers back on for me....

That was the first thing I tried, no joy....
Oooh i know this one.
Go to settings and icloud. Unclick sync contacts. reboot phone, click sync contacts and tada!
DO NOT click "sync contacts Facebook"

Goodness knows what I happened; I had a text and replied and the next time I went to the phone the contacts had disappeared!
Happened to me the other week.

Only problem wit an android phone is they freeze every 10 mins 😳

iPhone contacts sync the same with iCloud as android and google
And now go and back your phone up to something other than iCloud.
