I’ve got a new iPhone, which comes with a charging cable, and I also bought the proper Apple plug bit. All good so far and has been for the week I’ve had it. Just come home from work to find a set of AirPods plugged into my charger, which after a brief enquiry I have established we’re found in a field by my son. Now my charger seems to have stopped working and won’t charge my phone. It’s not the phone, because that’s charging just fine with a different charger. So how on earth has he borked my new charger by plugging it into this AirPods case? I can’t see any damage to the cable or plug at all.
The AirPods are going on the village Facebook page in an effort to reunite them with their before anyone asks!
Was the case wet?
Probably, was dry when I got to it but it’s been raining all day
That might well be your problem then… have you checked the fuse in the plug (if it’s accessible)?
Can’t access the fuse unfortunately. I’ll contact Apple and try and get it sorted. Thanks.
