Hi can anyone recommend a good case for an iPhone 5. I previously had a gear4 tyre tread one on my 4s but don't like the 5 one.

The one I currently have on mine is pretty much like this one:

.99p
Along with some cheap, (around £0.79 for 10) screen protectors,

it's proving perfectly durable, it survived being pulled out of my pocket and bouncing down a steep Tarmac hill, landing on three corners in the process.
Unless you need protection against water, you don't need anything more, really, it's just enough to protect against being dropped on concrete, and being put in a pocket with keys or some such.

What sort of thing do you want? Skinny minimal one or tougher

I liked the gear 4 tyre tread case because it gave some protection and being rubber didn't fly all over the car when driving a little to enthusiastically. But the one for the 5 didn't seem to fit very well and was more plastic than rubber. Looking at the otterbox commuter

I've got one of these griffin cases and really like it, clear back and rubber edges, scree protector on front

I use an Otterbox Commuter - it's got a silicone inner and a plastic outer with smart little port covers. Really good.

Just looking at my griffin survivor. Genius bit of kit even if it is only plastic and thickish rubber which stops subura sliding but comes at a a price being £30 which to me is a fair bit but it is probably the best if not then very close.
Includes builders etc belt clip guess it is...?
