I need to get a new battery fitted to my daughters iPhone 3g. (I know I could do it myself but I would make a hash of it!)
I'm looking at places online where you send it and they fix it and then send it back. Therein lies my worry... I don't know any of these companies and don't know who are trustworthy and who will just pinch the phone, has anybody used any iPhone repair company online they would recommend?
If its anything like an iphone 4 the bck slides off and replaces like any other battey, doesn't need a technician

I replaced mine recently, after mine took a wash & packed up.
Followed youtube videos on how to strip, 15min job done
& no need for any fancy tools, apart from a window suction cup to ease off the screen, easier than I thought to do as well.
Yep as I thought, that looks terrifying. I should have pointed out that when it comes to such things my hands work like I have mittens on, weird when I used to make my living playing the guitar really...
Thats why I don't mind paying some spotty herbert who works out of his shed £30 to do it so long as he posts it back 😳
