Is it possible to set a noticeable alarm to alert us if we are being burgled?
We have a rather weedy alert that lasts for 2 seconds and is the same as the alerts for everything else.
Don't think so, on iOS custom sounds etc are not possible unless the individual app has implemented them, which it sounds like they haven't?
Most you can do is go to Settings > Notifications > Ring app (or whatever it is) and ensure as many options as possible are turned on e.g. Critical Alerts (again only if the app provides this), Persistent banners, Announce (so it alerts you via headphones if you're wearing them)
if you're missing notifications/calls etc then an Apple Watch is great to ensure you notice them, that's all I can suggest really 🤷♂️
I've got a ring doorbell and the sounds are customisable in the iphone app. go to Device settings -> notification settings
might be the same in the ring alarm app?
