Well, students, but to all intents they might as well be zombies, shuffling around in large groups, with complete lack of spacial awareness, the herd at its worst.

My small enclave has a resident population of 15,000, this is swelled by an extra 10,000 students, this has a very disproportionate effect, it has distorted house prices to the detriment of local people, and placed undue strain on local services.

aaahhh... just wait until they close the university/college
your 'enclave' will miss them, and they will be replaced by benefit migrants

🙁

Although the vibrant and enthralling nightlife has dwindled and died, and there's no influx of fresh faced semi-literate young people to ogle every year any more, and the pubs are all closing, and the local youth are deserting in droves, our old seaside town does seem to be showing signs of developing a certain desolate suicidal charm now

The point is the overload of transient people, its effects have been far reaching and not good for the place for those who live here permanently, we have lost cinemas, theatre, football ground as a direct result of this, we have 'gained' some supermarkets .......

Hard to believe that in the middle of a full blown Global TV programmed Zombie Apocalypse, you can actually tell the difference between student zombies or those who are learning to be zombies and those that are fully functioning brain dead Zombies!

If your life isn't quite going according to plan, perhaps you should blame your leaders/rulers, rather than each other?

Klunk, there is a shop a few miles away is the basis for that sketch, brother and sister run it, she has the nose, and they boil beetroot fresh every morning for select clientele

You haven't lost a football ground, it was sold yes but what about the new one on the road to Menai? Upper Bangor is deserted with out the herd.

How does having an extra 10,000 lose you a cinema unless you are talking about the tiny flea pit at the end of the High Street?

Stop talking bobbins
