Hmm, whats the point. More metal and the normal triangulated rear end, looks wrong.

According to the website they've done science:

[i]"Laboratory testing and Finite Element Analysis proved that the RoundTail™ provides more than 10 times the vertical compliance of a standard double-diamond frame, and the ring design absorbs 60 times more road vibrations."[/i]

Funnily enough no mention of how much extra weight is added by having a two big steel hoops attached to the back of a road frame - though they do say it is "lightweight".
