I was using chrome but it slowed down loads for no reason. Did all the usuall checks and cleans etc but it was still slow. Uninstalled bitdefender and reinstalled windows security and am now trying IE9 which seems really fast.
Anyone else had trouble with chrome?

Chrome still works a treat for me. I do use CCleaner and ATF daily though.

IE9? Tis even worse than IE8 etc. A truly horrible browser IMO.

Firefox still here. Never found anything objectionable enough with it to change and it has all the add-ons I like.

Safari.

I've never even used it on my mac, are there any benefits to it?

In my experience every browser can have its problems and can go from running to sweet to running like a pig for whatever reason. But on a good day Chrome is lightening fast. And no less reliable than anything else.

The most trouble I've had over the years is with Firefox. But the trade-off is that you get loads of useful add-ons with it.

It takes only a few minutes to download/install a browser; why not just try each one for a week or two and see which you prefer?

Sometimes just clearing history and emptying cache can restore a browser to a quicker speed. CCleaner is probably the best app for doing this.

IME the single biggest reason that browsers fall over is Flash.

Flashdance FTW.

Always have at least two so you can download abother if one packs up. Firefox is the one I invariably click on.
