I updated the Internet Explorer on my laptop a couple of days ago and things seem to be much slower and pages keep crashing / freezing. I always use broadband and have tried the connections at home and work and its still rubbish. Is there something I can do to improve it or do I need to revert back to the old version of Explorer (if so how do I do it)?
Thanks.
Use chrome instead.
It's worth trying an alternative browser certainly, be that Chrome or Firefox or something else, just to see if it's browser-specific or PC-wide.
It's probably worth running a malware scan too, to rule out the possibility of an infection. The ubiquitous MBAM is weapon of choice here.
Is it just browsing, or is it slow generally?
Thanks Guys, I've downloaded Chrome and things seem to be running much better (touch wood!) 😀
Serves you right for using the pile of steaming poo that is IE 😕
Chrome for a fast and simple(ish) browser, Firefox if you want lots of plugins and stuff (although I hear the latest version may not be that good)
