I'm quite techie in some ways, mainly ways that involve engineering using hammers and lathes, mining equipment and low speed aerodynamics plus a bit of science. Computers? Well I used Macs from their first arrival here - I actually did a lot of the art for the original marketing campaign - but apart from wandering the internet that is pretty much it.
So I love XKCD for directing me down little alleys I didn't know were there. Today's strip gave me my first view of the npm left-pad incident which I found fascinating (as usual I love a good comments section) but more importantly it mentions the Internet Archive.
I knew about the Wayback Machine but I never realised just how big it is and the diversity of material.
