I was going to change comapines but have just had my insurance renewal through. OMG 😯 the are taking the pish. I have had 2 claims in 4 years, one theft and an accidental and they want almost £1000 for buildings and contents. Makes up my mind even more to kick em in to touch.......

2 claims in 4 years is quite a lot IMO

How much did you claim?

Change companies, increase your excess and you'll get it cheaper!!

Though in all honesty, I'd speak to a trusted local broker, they can give you some professional advice.

seems fair to me. your high risk, they don't want your business unless your willing to pay...

providing insurance isnt a public service.

They won't be getting my business either. Spoken to m&s and with the 2 claims the have given me a price of £370

Don't figure as the company i'm with at the moment i have been with for 8 years and have only had 2 claims ever with home insurance the cost went up for this year which i understand since the claims but to keep increasing it by over 45% is taking the pish and imo being greedy.
