[Closed] Insurance claims query

Howdo folks,

My wife thinks she has lost her engagement and wedding rings, somewhere in the house. She took them off when pregnant, stored them somewhere safe and when she tried them on again about 7 months later, she seems to have lost them. I'm going to have a proper look for them (after she has already hunted for days), but if we can't find them, can we claim them on the house insurance?

I've never claimed for anything before, so I'm not sure what my chances will be.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
